PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a starting method of a fuel cell power generation plant capable of reducing plant construction cost by reducing large and expensive apparatuses, of keeping high power generation efficiency by reducing blower power during a normal operation, and of preventing the performance degradation of a fuel cell by eliminating moisture condensation in heating the fuel cell. SOLUTION: This method is used for starting a fuel cell power generation plant which is provided with a reformer 10, a fuel cell 11 and a turbo charger 12, and in which a fuel gas reformed by the reformer is reacted with an air compressed by the turbo charger by a fuel cell, and the turbo charger is driven by its exhaust gas. A starting burner 22 installed on the upstream side of the turbo charger and a starting heat exchanger 24 installed on the downstream side of a turbine of the turbo charger are provided, the turbo charger is self- operated by burning fuel in the starting burner, the heat of the exhaust gas of the turbo charger is exchanged to the pressurized air in the starting heat exchanger to heat the pressurized air, and the fuel cell power generation plant is heated by the heated air. |
