<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a crazing and aggregation of a carrier in a centrifugal fluid coating apparatus and to enhance the yield as well as to provide an image quality free from lowering of the image density, the occurrence of a surface stain and not reproducing a halftone by obtaining a coated carrier having reduced unevenness in film thickness and capable of always ensuring stable uniform electrostatic charge. SOLUTION: In the production of the electrophotographic carrier including a step for coating the surface of a carrier with a film forming resin in a centrifugal fluid coating apparatus, the relation between film thickness (Y) and the particle diameter (X) of the non-coated carrier when the non-coated carrier having 50-130μm particle diameter is coated satisfies the equation Y=0.0001X+a, wherein (a) is the film thickness level.</p> |
