PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the silver halide photographic recording material enhanced in sensitivity and image quality. SOLUTION: The silver halide photographic sensitive material contains a silver halide emulsion comprising flat silver halide grains and a dispersion medium contains fine inorganic particles having a reflective index of 1.62-3.30 to a light of 500 nm wavelength in an amount of 1.0-95 weight % in total in a unit volume of the dispersion medium phase, and this dispersion medium containing these fine particles is substantially transparent to the light of the photosensitive peak wavelength of this layer, and the photosensitive material is exposed and processed in a development processing steps comprising at least a developing step and a fixing step.
