PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-line facsimile machine, that can optionally transmit received image data remotely by storing the image data through a plurality of lines in addition to type information of the telephone lines. SOLUTION: A multi-line facsimile matching F is provided with transmission reception control sections 1, 2 for each of telephone lines A, B independently and with an image memory 15 in common with the telephone lines A, B and it is constituted so that image data received via the telephone lines A, B are stored in the image memory 15 by adding identification information of the telephone lines A, B to the data. In the case of receiving a transmission command signal from the telephone lines A, B, image data received via other telephone lines A, B are transmitted remotely, in addition to the data from the telephone lines A, B.
