PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the appearance of a display image by generating data showing how color data of a three-dimensional model are seen in multiple directions by using three-dimensional shape model data of an object and pieces of image data as to the object. SOLUTION: Image data is inputted from an image input part 10 and a solid shape input part 12 performs three-dimensional modeling based upon pieces of image data as to the object photographed from multiple positions to obtain three-dimensional shape data of the object. The image data is supplied to a color information conversion part 14 as well. This color information conversion part 14 generates color information related to respective positions of the three- dimensional shape data. The three-dimensional shape data and color information related thereto are stored in a data storage part 16. The image data read out of the data storage part 16 is supplied to a video generation part, where video data of the object at various viewpoints specified by a user are generated. On the basis of the video data, a video display part displays video of the object.
