PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assure a large horizontal rotating range for a lighting fixture, lessen the number of component parts, and enhance assembling operability of works. SOLUTION: A luminaire 3 includes a lighting fixture 4 supported by a support member 5 in such a way as to be rotatable horizontally and is configured so that a pair of a stoppers 8 and 10 capable of abutting to each other for hindering the lighting fixture from the horizontal rotation exceeding a specified angle are installed on the lighting fixture 4 and support member 5, respectively, wherein the arrangement includes a mounting part 11 where the stopper 10 on the side with the member 5 is rotatable, i.e., a constant range in the same direction as that of the horizontal rotation of the lighting fixture, a protruding part 12 capable of abutting to the stopper 8 on the side with the lighting fixture 4, and a resilient part 13 for holding down the peripheral surface of the lighting fixture 4. This enables lighting fixture to rotate horizontally by 360 degs. or more, and no dead angle will exist within the range of irradiation. Because the protruding part 12 and resilient part 13 are formed on the same stopper 10, a single piece of component part as a horizontal rotation stopper can work both to suppress the horizontal rotation due to vibration and to prevent plays.
