PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an electrical connector, offering stable contact and holding force of its contacts, not requiring much assembling manpower. and capable of facilitating the manufacture of the electrical connector. SOLUTION: By this method, an electrical connector 10 for mounting a card therein is manufactured that is made up of contact parts 38 making contact with a card, contacts 16 each comprising a fixed part fixed to blocks A12, B14 and a connection part 24 to a substrate, the block B14 used for fixing the contacts 16 thereon, and the block A12 used for holding/fixing the block B14 thereon and having card insertion parts. According to the manufacturing method, firstly, the contacts 16 are molded, secondly, after a required number of contacts 16 are mounted in a die assembly, the block A12 and block B14 are integrally molded at the same time, and thirdly, the block B14 is turned and fixed to the block A12.
