METHOD AND DEVICE FOR CORE WIRE DECISION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for core wire decision that discriminate a T or R wire and the polarity of the R wire in an ISDN basic interface that is not in operation. SOLUTION: A T or R wire of an ISDN basic interface is estimated by measuring a DC voltage among 4 core wires, an IFO 1 signal is sent to the core wires in pairs estimated to be the T wire and not in operation, appearance of an INFO 2 between the core wires estimated to be the R wire is identified to discriminate the correctness of the estimated T and R wires and to decide A, B wires of the R wire.
