SPIRAL TYPE STORAGE BATTERY

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the width of a terminal by preventing the winding displacement of an electrode plate group in a storage battery having a spiral type electrode plate group, and a positive and negative electrode terminals at the same end of the electrode plate group and thereby to provide the storage battery having an excellent high-rate discharge characteristic with high productivity. SOLUTION: The ratio of the thickness of a separator to the sum of thicknesses of a positive electrode plate 2 and a negative electrode plate 3 constituting a spiral type electrode plate group is set to 0.17-0.33, the widths of terminal parts of the electrode plate group rolled after forming the plural terminal parts on the upper side of each of the electrode plates are gradually increased from its inside circumference to its outside circumference excluding the terminal parts on the outermost circumference, and the positive electrode terminal parts and the negative electrode terminal parts are arranged symmetrically with respect to the center axis of the electrode plate group.
