PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a helical antenna where a dielectric loss can be reduced, removal from a die can be facilitated and weight reduction is attained. SOLUTION: An antenna section 2 of the helical antenna consists of an antenna element 4 wound in spiral on a compact that is divided into insulator units 3a to 3d, and the insulator units 3a to 3d are connected in series. When the insulator units 3a to 3d are fitted in with each other for the connection, ends of elements units configuring the antenna element 4 are electrically in face contact. Since the split structure is adopted, the forming is facilitated and a degree of freedom of the size of the antenna section 2 can be enhanced.
