BLUE LUMINESCENT COMPOUND AND DISPLAY ELEMENT EMPLOYING THE SAME AS COLORING MATERIAL

PURPOSE: A blue luminescent compound having fluorene excellent in luminous efficiency characteristics as a branch and electroluminescence device employing the same as a coloring material are provided which produce electroluminescence devices with wide angle of visibility, excellent contrast and fast response time. CONSTITUTION: The blue luminescent compound of formula 1 including fluorene in the luminescent compound and excellent in luminous efficiency characteristics is used to produce an electroluminescence device. In formula, a1 and a2 are selected from the group consisting of C1-20 alkyl, trialkylsilyl and hydrogen, b1 and b2 are selected from the group consisting of C1-20 alkyl, C6-20 aryl and trialkylsilyl. The obtained electroluminescence device has improved luminous efficiency and luminance characteristics as compared with those employing conventional luminescent compounds.
