METHOD FOR STREAMING VIDEO/AUDIO BASED ON INTERMEDIATE DATA

PURPOSE: A method for streaming a video/audio based on an intermediate data is provided for transferring a video/audio data in an intermediate data form in a server when transferring the video/audio data and processing the video/audio data without an additional decompressing apparatus in a client side which receives the video/audio data for thereby simplifying a client system structure based on an easier video/audio data transmission. CONSTITUTION: There are provided a server(30) and a client(40). The server(30) stores a video/audio file compressed by a data storing unit(31), and an intermediate data generator(32) converts the compressed video/audio file stored in the data storing unit(31) and transfers to a network in an intermediate data form. In the conventional server(10), when there is a data request from the client(20) a corresponding video is transferred to the client through the network in a compressed form. In the present invention, the server(30) converts the compressed video/audio file and transfers to the client through the network in an intermediate data form.
