PURPOSE: An over heat prevention circuit is provided to accomplish an effectiveness of over heat and over load prevention with a reduced manufacturing cost. CONSTITUTION: In a microwave oven having a high voltage driving unit, a lamp(2), a fan motor(3), and a driving motor(4) operating in accordance with a control of a micro computer arranged onto a PCB(6), an over heat prevention circuit comprises a first temperature sensor(TCO10) arranged at a direct voltage low voltage line(L3) which is led from the PCB and extended to a second door switch(SW2), the first temperature sensor being mounted at a surface of a magnetron(MGT) so as to sense an over heat temperature of the magnetron; and a second temperature sensor(TCO20) connected in serial to the first temperature sensor and which is mounted to a surface of a cooking chamber so as to sense an over heat temperature of the cooking chamber.
