PURPOSE: A curing composition containing L-arginine, Schizandrae Fructus extract, Eucommiae Cortex extract for impotency is provided, which shows good curing effect to impotency without side-effect. CONSTITUTION: The curing composition for impotency comprises of L-arginine crystalline powder 5-200wt. part, Schizandrae Fructus extract containing 0.1-0.5% of schizandrin 3-15wt. part and Eucommiae Cortex extract containing 0.02-0.12% of genipocidic aid 5-15wt. part. The composition shows enhanced living body activity effect by adding vitamin B, C, E, pantothenic aicd or folic acid, which can be prepared in the form of solution, suspension, tablets, capsules, soft capsules, pills or granules. A process for the preparation of Eucommiae Cortex extract comprises of: cutting the Eucommiae Cortex into fine pieces, and pouring into distilled water 10L; boiling for 3hrs in water bath, and filtering after cooling; concentrating the residual solution to get the genipodic acid contained powder. A process for the preparation of Schizandrae Fructus extract comprises of: cutting the Schizandrae Fructus into fine pieces, and pouring into distilled water 5L; boiling for 3hrs in water bath, and filtering after cooling; and concentrating the residual solution to get the powder.
