PURPOSE: A curing composition containing L-arginine, Acanthopanacis senticosi extract, Lycii Fructus extract for impotency is provided, which shows good curing effect to impotency without side-effect. CONSTITUTION: The curing composition for impotency comprises of L-arginine crystalline powder 5-200wt. part, Acanthopanacis senticosi extract containing 0.05-0.45% of eleutheroside 5-30wt. part, Lycii Fructus extract(solid part is over 65%) 10-30wt. part. The composition can be prepared in the form of solution, suspension, tablets, capsules, soft capsules, pills or granules. A process for the preparation of Lycii Fructus extract comprises of: cutting the Lycii Fructus into fine pieces, and pouring into distilled water 5L; boiling for 3hrs in water bath, and filtering after cooling; and concentrating the residual solution to get the solid powder. A process for the preparation of Acanthopanacis senticosi extract comprises of: cutting the Acanthopanacis senticosi into fine pieces, and pouring into distilled water 5L; boiling for 4hrs in water bath, and filtering after cooling; and concentrating the residual solution to get the eleutheroside-contained powder.
