PURPOSE: A keyboard computer having a keyboard cover for keyboard mapping transfer is to provide a keyboard cover which can imitate a pointing device with a keyboard device. CONSTITUTION: A keyboard device(20) comprises a keyboard cover(10). The keyboard cover(10) comprises at least one hand held stick(11,12) for pointer adjustment and at least one function button(13-18) for the execution of a specific function. In addition the keyboard device(20) comprises a cover sensing button(21) to sense that the keyboard cover(10) gets covered. If the keyboard cover(10) is covered, a button is pushed and a switch is turned on. The switch on signal is inputted to a micro controller in the keyboard device(20) so that the micro controller can sense that the keyboard device(20) gets covered with the keyboard cover(10). The specific keys of the keyboard device(20) corresponds to the sticks(11,12) and the buttons(13-18). The specific keys are pushed as the sticks(11,12) are moved left, right, up and down and the buttons(13-18) are pushed. When the specific keys are pushed, the micro controller generates corresponding specific scan codes.
