PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the silver halide emulsion small in silver halide grain size and its manufacture, and the silver halide photographic sensitive material and the heat-developable photosensitive material both high in sensitivity and photoimage storage stability. SOLUTION: The silver halide emulsion comprises at least a dispersion medium and silver halide grains, and the silver halide grains have an average grain size of 5 nm-100 nm and a hexacyano-metal complex (represented by the formula [M(CN)6]n in which M is a specified metal atom, such as Fe or Ru, and (n) is 3 or 4) exists on the outermost surface of each silver halide grain.
