摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an intermediate transfer body in which belt deformation against stress at a driving time is reduced and also by which excellent transfer without having a defective image is executed by having a filler added layer constituted by adding the filler of a specified particle size to a material whose base body is a resin and which has specified dynamic microhardness. SOLUTION: The intermediate transfer body 2-1 consists of the monolayer of the filler added layer 2c that is constituted by adding the filler 2b whose average particle size is >=0.1μm to an electrically conductive material 2a whose base body is the resin and whose dynamic microhardness is <=20. The filler added layer 2c is formed on a surface on which a toner image is carried at the intermediate transfer body 2-2. Also, the filler added layer 2c is formed right under a protective film formed on the surface on which the toner image is carried at the intermediate transfer body 2-3. It is desirable that the average particle size of the filler 2b is <=1/2 of the particle size of the toner. Thus, an electrophotographic image whose image quality is excellent without having image distortion and a hollow character-like defective image is obtained.
