PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make estimable the causes of the generation of an abnormality signal by storing the feature amount of the abnormality signal being generated in the past in a reactor and the data on generation causes and obtaining the feature amount of the generated abnormality signal and comparing it with a stored feature amount. SOLUTION: A shock detecting device 4 identifies that a signal from an amplifier 3 is an abnormal signal, sends a trigger signal to an A/D converter 8, and sends digitized data to a diagnosis computer 5. The diagnosis computer 5 obtains six amount of feature r1-r3,α, CF, and RMS by operation for the waveform data of the abnormal signal and stores in a database 10 storing all information on past abnormal signals. The diagnosis computer 5 reads past information in the database 10 when the amount of feature is calculated, obtains the degree of agreement with calculated amount of feature, specifies the best agreed amount of feature, estimates generation causes corresponding to it as those of a new abnormal signal, and displays them on a display device 6.
