PURPOSE: A record paper cutting apparatus is provided to make the blade of a knife cut a record paper while being shifted in a perpendicular direction to a progress direction of the record paper. CONSTITUTION: A cut frame(10) discharges a record paper and has brackets(11,61) where support grooves(12,62) are formed respectively. A drive motor(20) is reversely forwardly rotated based on the control of a motor driving part. A screw(30) is installed at the support grooves(12,62) so as to interlock by the drive motor(20). A carrier(40) is coupled with the screw(30) and is coupled so as to do a straight-line motion in an installation direction of the screw when the screw is rotated. A guide unit guides so that the carrier(40) does the straight-line motion along the screw. A control unit consists of the first sensor(18) and the second sensor(19) and controls a transfer limitation of the carrier(40). A cutter(50) has a V-shaped blade of a knife so as to cut the record paper while being shifted along the upper surface of the cut frame.
