PURPOSE: An apparatus for removing the contamination of a shuttle scanner is provided to clean and prevent the contamination in a scanner owing to ink scatter or peripheral dust. CONSTITUTION: A CCD sensor(320c) converts a light source into a power and is installed at an uppermost part of a scanner module. A lens(320b) is installed at a lower part of the CCD sensor(320c). A lamp(320a) is installed at a lower part of the lens(320b) and irradiates a light source for reading the content of a paper. A transparent glass plate(320d) is installed at a lower part of the scanner module consisting of a scanner housing for protecting a scanner and prevent ink scatter and dust from being entered in the scanner.
