PURPOSE: An access channel communication apparatus of a CDMA communication system and a method of the same are provided to decrease a message collision by differently setting a probe transmission time offset in an access mode in a communication system. CONSTITUTION: A receiver(311) receives a RF signal through an antenna and converts a base band signal. A demodulator(313) demodulates a receiving signal from the receiver(311) into an original signal. A call message analyzer(315) analyzes a field information of a call message outputted from the demodulator(313) and generates an information for controlling the communication of a corresponding access channel. At this time, the information outputted from the call message analyzer(315) is a long code number, an offset time, etc. A transmission controller(351) inputs a response ACK signal and offset time from the control message analyzer(315). The transmission controller(351) transfers an instruction(access probe Tx command) to access an access channel to the message buffer(353) based on the offset time.
