PURPOSE: A driving system for an electrostatic mode of a color printer is provided to respectively separate a developing roller, a squeeze roller, a dry roller and a transfer roller from a photosensitive belt by a small power of an auxiliary power supply in an electrostatic mode, thereby preventing damage of the photosensitive belt by being pressed by the respective rollers. CONSTITUTION: A driving system for an electrostatic mode of a color printer includes a plurality of developing units(110) having developing rollers(111) for developing a developing solution on a photosensitive belt(100) per color, and a first cam element(113) for pressing or not the developing rollers with relation to the photosensitive belt, a drying unit(120) having a dry roller(121) for drying liquid carrier remaining on the photosensitive belt and a second cam element(123) for pressing or not the drying roller with relation to the photosensitive belt, a transferring unit(130) having a transferring roller(131) and a third cam element(133) for pressing or not the transferring roller with relation to the photosensitive belt, driving parts(103,105,107) for driving the cam elements in the electrostatic mode, a power transmission element(152) for transmitting power to the respective units, a position sensor for sensing positions of the rollers, an electrostatic board(191) for selectively driving the driving parts and the power transmission element, and an auxiliary power supply(193) for driving the driving part in the electrostatic mode.
