PURPOSE: A gourd with a hole at the bottom is provided to be used for scooping water easily without wrenching a wrist. CONSTITUTION: The hemisphere gourd for scooping water includes a hole(12) at the bottom of the gourd and a soft plate of check valve(13) inside the hole preventing the water from being drained off. The hole expresses humorous image and one end part of the check valve is fixed to the gourd. Through the hole, the water is get into the gourd and the gourd is steeped in water to be scooped up.
