PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a small and simple specimen test apparatus or wipe test appliance. SOLUTION: This wipe test appliance 1 comprises a tubular body 2 whose upper and lower parts are opened, a specimen wiping tool 4 comprising a holding member 10 removably inserted into the upper opening 3 in this tubular body 2 and a cotton bar 9 held by this holding member 10, and a specimen test appliance 6 that comprises a reagent container 17 having a breaker 24 on its bottom and measurement container 15 and is mounted to the lower opening 5 in the body. The appliance 1 detects bacteria in a specimen.
