PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lighten the driving load on the driver of a moving body by detecting the presence of another moving body, estimated to arrive almost at the same time with the moving body, nearby the predicted arrival point of the moving body and giving notice of the presence of the detected moving body. SOLUTION: A controller 10 detects the position of an intersection before its vehicle and calculates the time when the intersection is reached. An information signal arriving from another vehicle nearby this vehicle is received by a radio communication device 6 and its contents are read to decide whether or not there is another vehicle before the same intersection. When the presence of the vehicle is decided, it is discriminated whether or not the differences in the time when the intersection is reached between this vehicle and other vehicles are longer than a specific and when there are vehicles which are smaller in the difference, vehicles which are estimated to cross the travel track of this vehicle are extracted from other vehicles. Then the driver is notified that there are the vehicles estimated to cross the travel track of this vehicle at the intersection. |
