PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a high-voltage transformer that offers superior radiation and assemblying property. SOLUTION: This high-voltage transformer has a laminated core 12 which consists of many iron pieces 13, a primary coil and a secondary coil (15a and 15b) which are wound around the laminated core 12 and convert input power into output power having a required voltage, and many radiating ribs which are arranged on the outer face of the lamination core 12, in parallel with the laminating direction of the iron pieces. The radiating ribs 16 consist of many protruding pieces, which are arranged along the rims of the iron pieces and laminated together with the iron pieces. Since the radiating ribs 16 are arranged on the outer face of the lamination core along the laminating direction of the iron pieces, all the iron pieces 13, which make up the laminated core 12, have an identical shape and are arranged in the same direction.
