PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve safety by making a gas safety device operate normally and operating a gas interrupting part to close a gas passageway before the gas safety device becomes unusable. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a controlling part which has a 2nd control mode 10 in which a gas interrupting part is made to operate to close a gas passageway when a voltage detecting part detecting the voltage of a power supply detects voltage being equal to or less than prescribed voltage, and a 3rd control mode 11 in which the closed gas passageway is released by operating a return operating part 4 releasing and returning a closed gas passageway, and makes the gas interrupting part 3 operate to close the gas passageway when the voltage detecting part 5 detects voltage being equal to or less than the prescribed voltage in the power supply after a fixed time with the releasing point of time as an origin.
