PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the size as the whole of display regions relatively large. SOLUTION: In the case of the lower display region 12 of a rectangular shape, the length in a row direction is restricted by turning-around wires 15 and 16 for lower display and upper display disposed on the right side at the rear surface of a common substrate 2. In the case of the upper display region 11 of a rectangular shape as against the same, the length in the row direction is hardly restricted by the turning-around wire 15 for lower display and the length in the row direction is restricted only by the turning-around wire 16 for upper display. The length in the row direction of the upper display region 11 may be made longer than the length in the row direction of the lower display region 12 by the difference. Consequently, the size as a whole of both display regions 11 and 12 may be made relatively large. The constitution of one display region and the formation of its shape to nearly a trapezoidal shape or nearly sectorial shape are equally well.
