PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electric charge transferring material stable without crystallization, capable of transferring an electric charge at room temperature, large in mobility of a charge, easy in alignment and forming film and showing no fluidity by constituting the material of the polymer of a polymerizable liquid crystal composition containing virgate liquid crystals having polymerization capability. SOLUTION: This charge transferring material comprises the polymer of a polymerizable liquid crystal composition containing virgate liquid crystals having polymerization capability. The liquid crystal having polymerization capability is preferably a cyclic alcohol, single-functional acrylate or single- functional methacrylate having a crystalline bone structure of at least two six-member rings in one molecule. As the single-functional acrylate or methacrylate, the compounds shown by the formula are exemplified. In the formula, X is hydrogen atom or methyl group; (n) is an integer of 0 or 1; (p) is an integer of 1-4; Z is hydrogen or a halogen atom or a cyano, 1-20C alkyl, alkoxy, alkenyl or alkenyloxy group.
