PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve portability by efficiently housing a main capacitor with large capacitance and a battery and making projection size compact as a whole. SOLUTION: In this camera provided with a battery loading part 9 in which plural batteries 6 are loaded, the plural batteries 6 are loaded in the loading part 9 so that their longitudinal directions may be parallel with each other. Parts (for example, a capacitor 5 for strobe light emission) other than the battery are arranged in space between the plural batteries 6 in the loading part 9.
