PURPOSE: An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) and a fabricating method thereof are provided to strengthen the TAB adhesive force of LCD having the high aperture ratio on which an organic protection film is applied. CONSTITUTION: An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) comprises a gate pad(16), a gate insulating film, hole(18), a semiconductor pattern(32) and a transparent electrode(20). The gate pad(16) is formed on the bottom glass with a gate line of a picture display. After the gate insulating film is covered on the gate pad(16), the hole(18) is patterned on the position of the gate pad(16). The semiconductor pattern(32) is formed on the gate insulating film of the position of the gate pad(16) are prevents from the transient etching of the gate insulating film contacted the electrode pad. The transparent electrode(20) protects for the electrode pad.
