PURPOSE: Seat structure of a vehicle is provided to reduce the injury of a passenger by pushing a cushion outward. CONSTITUTION: A shock absorbing portion(11) is formed by separating an outer portion of a cushion(10). An operating device(20) is fixed in the shock absorbing portion(11). The operating device(20) is operated by receiving air from a surge tank(40) through a control of an ECU(Electronic Control Unit)(30). The operating device(20) comprises an operating cylinder(21) fixed in the shock absorbing portion(11) and a check valve(22) controlled by the ECU(30) by installing in a connecting pipe(23). In detecting a side-on crash by the ECU, the shock absorbing portion is protruded outward. By reducing shock, a passenger protected safely.
