PURPOSE: An apparatus for effectively recognizing vehicle information is provided to precisely and swiftly recognize vehicle information and promptly and appropriately cope with tense situations by incorporating vehicle information generating and receiving elements. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for effectively recognizing vehicle information includes an intrinsic number storing element(130) for storing information input via an intrinsic number input part(135) having an interface function, a data converter(120) for converting a parallel data of the intrinsic number storing element into a serial data, a modulator(100) for modulating a serial signal of the data converter, an infrared transmission part(110) for emitting the signal of the modulator in forms of an infrared signal in the air, a narrow band infrared filter(115) for precisely conveying waves from the infrared transmission part to a vehicle information receiving part, a data transmission detection/confirmation part(150) for detecting and confirming whether the signal is precisely transmitted in the air, and a comparator(140) for determining whether the information of the data transmission detection/confirming part is equal to that of the intrinsic number storing part to supply a warning signal to a warning generating part(145) in the other case.
