PURPOSE: A system for interfacing a source of an external equipment of a TV is provided to display a connecting state of the external equipment connected with the TV on a screen, and select a desired source mode from the screen. CONSTITUTION: The system for interfacing a source of an external equipment of a TV comprises a transmitting portion(101) for transmitting a signal for confirming a connecting state of an external equipment and selecting a mode; an audio/video switch(102) for selectively receiving a correspondent input signal out of a plurality of audio/video input signals and a plurality of super jack input signals according to a mode selected by the transmitting portion and outputting an image/color signal; a main video decoder(103) for receiving an external image signal and the image/color signal from the audio/video switch to output the image signal, a color difference signal, and a horizontal and vertical synchronizing signal; a HD(high definition) interface(104) for receiving a digital TV signal from a digital set-top box and outputting a RGB(red, green and blue) signal; a HD/PC input selecting switch(105) for receiving the RGB signal from the HD interface and the RGB signal from a PC input terminal and selecting one of them; an analog/digital converting portion(106) for receiving a signal selected by the HD/PC input selecting switch and converting into a digital signal; and a main controller(107). |
