PURPOSE: An inverter-type power supply is provided to enhance efficiency and ensure high productivity by enhancing the performance of a power supply in use for electric and electronic devices. CONSTITUTION: A high-voltage transformer(T3) performs amplification into a high voltage. A rectifier(REC) receives an AC power and rectifies the AC power into a DC power. A pair of switching blocks(T1,2;Q1,1;R13-16) switch a voltage from the rectifier(REC) into a predetermined frequency and supply the switched voltage to the high-voltage transformer(T3). A transistor(TR) alternately inputs a switching signal to the pair of switching blocks(T1,2;Q1,1;R13-16). A pulse width modulator(PWM;R1-11;C1,2,6) uses the transistor(TR) to generate the switching signal necessary for the switching blocks(T1,2;Q1,1;R13-16), and sets the switching signal as duty and frequency.
