PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a developing device capable of restraining the scattering of developer while restraining the deterioration of the image quality in a first operable state after a stop state is continued for a long time by making the number of rotations of a part of plural stirring and carrying means lower than a specified number of rotations in a specified time in the first operable state after the stop state is continued for a specified time or longer. SOLUTION: Toner stirring and carrying members 44a and 44b are rotated at a number of revolutions lower than ordinary one so that toner quantity may be reduced in a specified time in the first operable state after the long-term stop of an image forming device. Namely, the ordinary number of revolutions of the toner stirring and carrying members 44a, 44b and 44c in a period other than a specified period is all 24/min. In the specified period, the number revolutions of the member 44c is the same as the ordinary one but the number of revolutions of the members 44a and 44b is set to 1/min. Thus, the toner quantity is reduced to realize the rapid rising of image reflection density. |
