<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a toner binder excellent in hot offsetting properties and low temperature fixation properties by constituting the binder of an amino group-containing vinyl resin, an epoxy group-containing vinyl resin and another vinyl resin. SOLUTION: This toner binder for electrophotography comprises the amino group-containing vinyl resin, the epoxy group-containing vinyl resin and other vinyl resin. As the amino group-containing vinyl resin, those obtained by copolymerizing amino group-containing vinyl monomers with other monomers or by modifying the functional groups of a vinyl resin into amino groups can be named as examples. As another vinyl resin, a styrene resin and a styrene- acrylic resin are named as examples. The toner excellent in the balance of low temperature fixation properties and anti-offsetting properties without deteriorating image quality can be obtained when this toner binder is used.</p> |
