PURPOSE: A method for remotely recording announcing messages of a full electronic exchange is provided to transmit recorded data to a remote exchange through a data network from a host, so as to reduce costs and time for recording the announcing messages. CONSTITUTION: An operation and maintenance processor(OMP) receives recorded data to examine whether the data has failures, and transmits information on the recorded data to a control processor. If the control processor informs the OMP of a recording-ready state, the OMP transmits the recorded data. The control processor records the recorded data in a recording announcement device, receives a recording result from the recording announcement device, and informs the OMP of the recording result. The OMP accumulates sizes of the recorded data. If transmissions of entire data are completed, the OMP informs the control processor of the completion. The control processor informs the recording announcement device of the completion to restore resources used while recording the data, and reports a completing result to the OMP. If a recording is normally completed, the recording result is examined by delivering a recorded announcement to a specific telephone number.
