The monitoring and regulation method uses a magnetic field generated within the combustion zone via a sensor coil device (14), which is connected in an oscillation circuit, with evaluation of the variations in the oscillation frequency, dependent on the variations in the coil inductance, for indicating the presence of a flame and the combustion quality. An Independent claim for a combustion process monitoring and regulation device is also included.
