<p>A piezoelectric vibrator comprises a piezoelectric quartz substrate (100) capable of piezoelectric vibration; electrodes (101, 102) provided on the front and back of the piezoelectric substrate (100); protective quartz substrates (105, 106) of the same material and the same cleavage as the piezoelectric substrate (100); and gold- or silver-containing junctions (107, 108, 109, 110) for diffusion bonding or normal-temperature bonding between the piezoelectric substrate (100) and the protective substrate (105, 106). The junctions (107-110) seal the piezoelectric substrate (100). The junctions (107-110) have low resistance on account of the diffusion bonding or normal-temperature bonding.</p> |
