<p>A hand-propelled truck comprises a frame (11, 13, 14), a pair of wheels (17) for supporting the frame above a floor, and for each wheel of said pair of wheels (17): (a) a wheel support (16) carried by the frame (11, 13, 14) and mounting the associated wheel (17) for rotation about an axis of rotation, said wheel support (16) being rotatable relative to the frame about an indexing axis (L) between a first indexed position, in which the axis of rotation of the wheel (17) is orientated in a first direction (C1), and a second indexed position, in which the axis of rotation of the wheel is orientated in a second direction (C2) including an angle with the first direction, preferably an angle of 90 degrees, and (b) a wheel indexing and latching device including a first latching member (20A) on the wheel support (16) and a co-operating second latching member (18) on the frame, the first and second latching members being movable relative to one another along the indexing axis (L) between a wheel indexing position, in which the wheel support (16) is rotatable between the first and second indexed positions, and a wheel latching position, in which the latching members (20A, 18) latch the wheel support against rotation about the indexing axis (L). The wheel support (16) and the second latching member (18) are held against movement relative to the frame (11, 13, 14) at least in one direction along the indexing axis (L), and the first latching member (20A) is movable relative to the wheel support (16) along the indexing axis (L) between the wheel indexing position and the wheel latching position.</p> |
