PURPOSE: An improved structure of water collecting unit is provided to simplify the construction and assembly procedures by eliminating a pattern jig. CONSTITUTION: A water collecting unit structure comprises an inner case(24) forming a portion of a heat exchange chamber(30), an evaporator(20) installed to the heat exchange chamber, a defrosting heater(22) for generating heat to be applied to the evaporator upon defrosting, and a heat transfer plate(26) installed between a foamed thermal insulation material and the inner case portion adjacent to the evaporator. The heat transfer plate protects the inner case from being deformed by a foaming pressure, and serves to transfer the heat from the defrosting heater all over the evaporator.
