PURPOSE: A method for outputting an emulation more than PCL4 in a line printer is provided to realize emulation more than PCL4 in a line printer by resolving point problems by adding a buffer for compressing and data alignment between an input buffer and a data imaginating conversion part. CONSTITUTION: A method for outputting an emulation more than PCL4 in a line printer includes the steps of inputting data from an input buffer of a line computer(S100), determining whether a page is in a full state impossibly to input any more data if the a byte detected from the input data is more than a reference mode to output by a page unit(S200, S300,S310), releasing compression of the data and converting the data to images in case of the full state(S330), and outputting the image-converted data after carrying the image conversion until a line printer buffer becomes full(S350,S360).
