摘要 PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of zinc plating steel wire for self supporting cable having smooth surface removes the blocking phenomenon of a nozzle and recovers the elongation characteristics on forming of the cover of synthetic resins. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of zinc plating steel wire for self supporting cable having smooth surface has following steps. At first, a wire made of hard steel wire material or piano wire material is drawn or is drawn after a heat treatment. Then, an ordinary melt zinc plating is done to the drawn wire. Then, the zinc plated wire is drawn by 5 to 95 percent of reducing ratio, thereby smoothing the surface of the plated layer thereof. Finally, the drawn plated wire itself or a hard twisted wire formed by twisting the drawn plated wire is heat treated by moving it in a heat treatment furnace at 300 to 400 degrees Celsius for 1 to 5 seconds.
