<p>There is a PSI reception waiting time for less than two seconds from the start of decoding of an MPEG transport stream until AV data is actually displayed. There are provided first recording means (3) for recording thereon a predetermined signal including discretely program additional information, recording control means (2) for recording the predetermined signal on the first recording means (3), reproducing control means (4) for reproducing the predetermined signal from the first recording means (3), PSI detecting means (1) for detecting program specification information (PSI) from the predetermined signal, and PSI adding means (5) for adding the PSI to the predetermined signal.</p> |
