<p>A hygromycin tolerance gene wherein CTG codon has been modified into a leucine codon other than CTG; and a yeast belonging to the genus Candida transformed by using the above hygromycin tolerance gene. The hygromycin tolerance gene is usable as a selection marker in a yeast belonging to the genus Candida and a yeast belonging to the genus Candida which can be selected can be prepared by utilizing the hygromycin tolerance.</p> |
