An electromagnetic relay includes an exciter coil (1), core (2) and armature (3) in its magnetic system. Also included are winding connections, and a base/socket formed through a plated- through circuit board (4), in which one side of the circuit board facing the magnetic system has connector paths and one main face of the relay is formed by the side of the circuit board (4) facing the magnetic system. An insulating layer (6) is arranged between the armature (3) and the movable contact element (5) on the armature (3), and the fixed contact elements (9) mounted on the circuit board (4) are joined to the connections for the fixed contact elements, via the connector paths.
