PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an equipment management system which can grasp plural abnormal phenomena of equipment to be managed by means of the browser of a client device. SOLUTION: A device to be managed which is built into a system has an SNMP(simple network management protocol) agent function, for example, that detects the state change of the equipment itself and can output this detection result to another device. When a device detailed screen request in given from a certain client device, the information are collected from an MIB (management information base) database of a printer device that is designated by the device detailed screen request (S201, S203, etc.). Thus, various display data are specified according to those collected information (S202, S204, etc.). Then the screen information which includes those specified display data and can display a screen showing all abnormal phenomena of the printer device is sent back to the client device (S209). A management server has a function to attain such said constitution.
