<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reproduce and multiplex multiple digital video signals in the formats of a Y data series and a PB/PR series and to transmit them after 8B/10B conversion by a means which is prepared relatively easily. SOLUTION: A word string data is obtained by multiplexing multiple digital video signals, an 8-bit/10-bit converting process is performed for the word string data, and 20-bit word string data is generated and processed by transmission rate conversion; and additional word data groups including 20-bit word synchronizing data given a preset code are inserted at specific word intervals to generate composite 20-bit word string data, which is converted into serial data and transmitted.</p> |
